Our next Share Sunday will be June 2nd, 2013.  Also don't forget that Donations are accepted at Mass on the 1st Sunday of the month and at all Faith Formation Classes and our Pre-School Classes.

From Ray Haywood, Share Sunday Coordinator: The need for donations of food, paper goods, & household goods is ongoing. While making a donations delivery, I was told by the Harrisburg United Methodist Church (HUMC) Food Pantry Coordinator that at least five new families who thought they would never need the assistance of a food pantry were helped in August. The HUMC Food Pantry is small and frequently runs short on donations. Without our donations, there would not be enough to help all the families in need. Please take a moment to "like" "The Harrisburg Community Food Pantry"  on Facebook to keep up with their needs & postings. During Share Sunday weekend, please bring a donation with you to Mass and share in the satisfaction that helping brings. Each month, I am inspired when listening to the experiences and challenges of coordinators of the pantries we support. Their need is great and every item makes a difference!
