The purpose of the Bereavement Ministry is to support Parish families who have lost a loved one.



We do this by providing assistance with the following: home visits, phone calls and card ministry, prayers for the deceased, and encouragement, support and companionship for the family. From time to time, we sponsor grief education classes that address specific aspects of grief.

If you are compassionate, a good listener and want to “companion” others as they go through the grieving process, please consider becoming a member of our ministry. No experience necessary, just a willing heart. Our Bereavement Ministry planning meetings are held as necessary throughout the year.
