Congrats to BSA Troop 232's 22nd Eagle Scout
Nickolas Greene, son of Todd and Rocio Greene has achieved Boy Scouting's highest rank, that o fEagle Scout. Nickolas, 18, planned and led the refurbishment of the Confessionals and their contents, (particians and kneelers), of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church. The rooms have been transformed into a comforting space to receive the Holy Sacrament of Confession. The Greene's along with his troop celebrated Nicholas' achievement on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
Troop 232 is the St. Thomas Aquinas sponsored organization for boys grades 6-12. Young men and their families have opportunities to learn new skills, grow in leadership abilities and experience adventures in the outdoors. With a focus on boys taking the lead under the mentorship of involved parents Scouting offers creative ways to grow in mind, body and spirit, all the while having fun!!!
• Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 in the Family Life Center
• Volunteers assist with the boys, and participate in weekend and summer camping, hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities.
