As the Diocese of Charlotte continues to grow, so does the need for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. In response to this need, a Vocations Awareness Ministry has been instituted at St. Thomas Aquinas.  Its mission is to help educate our parish regarding different vocations in the Church, to encourage young people to consider the priesthood or religious life as a possible life’s calling, and to promote ongoing prayer for these intentions.

Each Sunday after Mass, a parish family or individual will accept the Vocations Awareness Blessing cup and agree to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life during the following week.   Each week a different family or individual will take the cup home to continue this campaign of prayer. Families who are signed-up for the week should see Father in the Sacristy either before or after Mass.Sign-up sheets to host the Vocations Blessing Cup are in the Church Narthex or you may contact Marie Aymar in the parish office at 704-549-1607.
